Whether it’s peace you are after, quiet walking and contemplation among some of the most beautiful countryside in Scotland, or an all together more active holiday with Munros to scale and white water rapids to navigate, then you have found a perfect place to stay.
The following ideas are by no means exhaustive but are here to show just some of what is within easy reach of Lurgan Farm Bed & Breakfast. If you need any help with your plans or have something else in mind feel free to give us a call. We’ll be glad to help if we can.
Places to Visit
There is history all around with evidence of our existence going back thousands of years, there is nature all around us too, and if that’s was not enough there is even an artisan chocolatier virtually on the doorstep.
Golf
We feature our three most local clubs here but there are many, many more with Perthshire including some of the big names. So if golf is your thing you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Distilleries
Well you’ll be in Scotland, and one of the many things we are known for is our malt whiskey. It comes in all sorts of forms and three of the finest are made right here in Perthshire.
Gardens and Walking
As we’ve already suggested there is walking to suit all abilities. The farm will provide substantial opportunities to stretch your legs but there is much more on offer including a number of Munros. That’s the name given to all the hills in Scotland that are over 3000 feet.
Sport and Leisure
And here is where it all gets a bit energetic. Apart from. perhaps, the fishing and the Hot box, the other activities offered here are adrenaline pumping experiences. If that’s you, you’re going to love it.

Amble out after breakfast with a good book or a pair of binoculars and set yourself up on the decking for the day. The beauty is that the choice is yours.
